Assistant Manager - Insurance

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the claim settlement process, ensuring prompt and accurate claims processing.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the branches and insurance providers for all claims-related inquiries.
• Monitor claims performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance overall insurance service quality.
• Coordination of insurance team with branches to maximize renewal of insurance
• Ensure expiring insurance of customers are renewed on time
• Ensure good relationship with branch and customers leading to customer satisfaction resulting in increase of insurance business
• Educate internal teams and branch about insurance policies and best practices.
• Track and report on insurance-related costs, and ensure that all claims and premiums are within budgeted limits.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on the status of insurance policies, risks, claims, and any key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with insurance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors / Master’s degree in Finance, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance management or risk management within the financial services or NBFC sector.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, risk management principles, and compliance regulations.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage relationships with external vendors and internal teams.
