Role & responsibilities

• A strong understanding of how to scale database systems and plan for future growth, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Proficient in performance tuning, and well-versed in both Azure and Google database architecture and planning.
• Experience with database monitoring tools and the ability to proactively diagnose and resolve performance issues, including query optimization and indexing strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in production environments.
• The candidate should not only manage the technical aspects of the database but also have a deep understanding of the data it holds. This includes grasping the business context, data relationships, and nuances specific to our industry, enabling them to design and optimize the database in line with our business requirements.
