Quantity Surveyor

Role & responsibilities

• To study & analyze contract document thoroughly
• Prepare quantity sheet from onsite data & drawings
• Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) & bills with item rates from tender
• To take the measurement ( JMR etc.) from the site engineer
• Prepare & process subcontractor bills
• Checking and certification of bills and invoices from vendors and contractors
• Preparing reconciliation statements
• To follow up on the accounts department for payment
• Review the quantities item listed
• Checking measurements
• Bill certification
• Identification and preparation of extra items.
• Preparation of monthly reconciliation statement of building material.
• Proper entering of bills without errors
• Preparing RA Bills for the Projects (Client and Sub Contractor bills) on Monthly basis
• Getting Approval from the Client.
• Providing billing related information/documents to client as and when required.
• Advance Adjustment: - Adjusting Advances on pro rata basis as per the contract terms & keeping the record of the same.
• To get work done as per the protocol of the company, & to follow ERP/ SAP process
• To support purchase Dept for Specification of Various materials
• To suggest inputs which will add value Engineering in Billing, Estimation, Tendering process
