Civil Quantity Surveyor

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Quantity Surveyor located in Nagole, Hyderabad. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the following activities:

Cost estimation:

• Analyze project drawings and specs to calculate quantities of materials
• Estimation of labor costs on project scope and complexity
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for project budgets
• Preparation of rate analysis sheets for different construction services

Tendering and Contract Management

• Develop tender documents, including BOQs
• Evaluate contractor bids and negotiate contract terms
• Evaluate contractor bids and negotiate contract terms.
• Manage contract variations and change orders.

Project Monitoring and Cost Control

• Regularly monitor project progress against budget and schedule.
• Identify potential cost risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Track and analyze cost variances, providing reports to stakeholders.

Payment Certification

• Measure and value completed work to certify contractor payments.
• Review and approve invoices from subcontractors.

Site Visits and Quality Assurance

• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with project specifications.
• Identify and address quality issues on-site.

Client Communication

• Provide regular cost updates and progress reports to clients.
• Communication and submission of regular RA bills to clients.

Required Skills

• MS Office
• AutoCAD
• ERP knowledge preferable

• Experience in the construction industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in related field
