HIL Engineer

Job Description:

- Understanding of Software and System requirements;
- Design of case description with mid to high test complexity, based on System / Software requirements;
- Implement test cases in scripting language, complying with internal guidelines;
- Organize reviews for your implementation with other testers;
- Participate and give input as reviewer for other testers;
- Perform test runs and analyze results of the implemented test cases;
- Perform analysis of internal / customer bugs;
- Train and/or offer support to other colleagues; Act as mentor for new colleagues;
- Train and support other colleagues on tools, processes and his area of expertise;

- Design, develop and maintain HIL test rigs for automotive software verification and validation.

-Hands on experience on Vector VT HIL Systems or similar HIL systems is mandatory

- Hands on experience with test automation using python is mandatory

- Good knowledge of at least one programming language needed (e.g.: Python, C, C++, C#);

- Good testing principles;

- Basic knowledge of Electronics and measurement equipment;

- Basic knowledge of Microcontroller and Embedded systems;

- Good knowledge of Communication protocols in embedded systems (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UART, etc);

- Basic knowledge of Automotive standards (ISO26262, AUTOSAR, ASPICE);

- Software development processes;

- Good knowledge on how to work with:

- Version control tools (GiT, ClearCase, etc);

- Requirement management tool (IBM Rational DOORS);

- Defect Management tool (JIRA);

- Good written and spoken English language.
