Vmware Engineer

Education & Experience:

Bachelor Degree preferably with an engineering background

7-10 year meaningful work experience, and preferably with a background in leading tech

innovation projects and development teams.

Proven track record in managing VMware solutions for highly critical environments.

Responsibilities & Duties :

Hands on Experience - vCenter, ESXi, HA, DRS, vCenter, and vSphere,Snapshot, Clone, types

of VM migrations, Port group,

Groups, VLAN tagging, NIC teaming etc

Experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSphere.

Knowledge on V-Center 7.0 and ESXi 7.0,Troubleshooting on ESXi and VMs

Proficient in VM Cluster tuning and best practices

Knowledge of RAID, VLANS, TCP/IP protocols, DHCP and DNS

Day to Day activities such as - Resource addition (CPU, Memory, and disk), daily health check

Creating Data store, Configuring Network and Port groups on Virtual switches.

Handle daily operation incidents like server performance, low disk space, CPU and memory

VMware Certified Professional (VCP) preferred
