Windows Server Administrator (8-12 yrs)

Job description : Administrator in Windows Server Management function -will be part of 24/7 Operation team

Location : Mumbai ( Malad Airoli Office)

Position Responsibilities :

- Ensuring their optimal performance, security, and availability.

- Server Installation and Configuration : Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows server hardware and software.

- Patch Management : Develop and implement patch management strategies to keep servers up to date with security patches and updates.

- Performance Optimization : Continuously monitor server performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks and issues to ensure optimal server operation.

- Security Compliance : Ensure Windows server environments comply with industry best practices and security standards. Implement security measures and policies to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.

- Backup and Recovery : Design and implement robust backup and disaster recovery solutions for Windows servers to minimize downtime and data loss.

- Automation : Utilize scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible) to streamline server management tasks, improve efficiency, and enable self-service provisioning.

- Capacity Planning : Plan for future infrastructure needs by assessing capacity requirements and making recommendations for scaling server resources.

- Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of server configurations, procedures, and policies.

Qualifications and Experience Requirement :

Qualifications :

- Essential Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information

- Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Threshold Competencies :

- Proven experience in leading Windows server teams.

- Strong expertise in Windows Server operating systems and technologies.

- Proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., AHV, VMware, Hyper-V).

- Excellent knowledge of server hardware, storage, and networking concepts.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex server issues.

- Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell).

- Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.

- Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or equivalent.
