Role & responsibilities
1. Oversee the purchasing of pharmaceutical products and biomedical instruments, ensuring adherence to company standards, regulatory requirements, and budget constraints.
2. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing of materials
3. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, monitor product shelf life, and ensure adequate stock levels of critical products and instruments
4. Negotiate contracts and prices with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and terms
5. Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth procurement operations.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new biomedical technologies, and market pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
7. Provide regular reports on procurement activities, inventory levels, and financial performance to the management
Preferred candidate profile
1. Minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical purchasing, biomedical instrument procurement, or a related field.
2. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
3. Experience with procurement software and inventory management systems
4. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
5. Experience managing budgets and achieving cost-saving targets
6. Notice period - 15 days to 30 days
