Position Overview:

As the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will be a key member of our executive team, responsible for defining and executing our product strategy, roadmap, and vision.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company by leading the product team and ensuring that our products align with our business goals and customer needs.

This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of market trends, user-centered design, and a track record of successfully bringing innovative products to market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear and compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall mission and goals.

- Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the short-term and long-term product development priorities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.

- Recommend to the stakeholders product proposals that generate increased revenues and align for sign off.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing product team, including product managers, designers, and engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities and make data-driven decisions.

- Offer effective recommendations for product positioning & pricing to the commercial team

- Product Development: conceptualize to design architecture and successful deployment in different client contexts.

- Build the end-to-end product development process, from ideation and design to development, testing, and release, ensuring products are delivered on time and within budget.

- Determine and suggest the cost of the new product through the process of build and market research.

- User-Centered Design: Champion user-centered design principles, conducting user research and usability testing to ensure products meet user needs and deliver exceptional user experiences.

- Product Metrics: Define and track key product performance metrics, regularly reporting on progress to the executive team and stakeholders.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, sales, and engineering, to ensure seamless product launches and effective go-to-market strategies.

- Product Innovation: Drive innovation within the organization by fostering a culture of experimentation and encouraging new ideas and technologies.

- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to retirement, making informed decisions on product enhancements, updates, and discontinuations.

- Seamless integration with third party products and utilities.

Qualifications & Expertise required:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- Proven track record of at least [20+ years] of product leadership experience in [preferable in a software/product industry].

- Proven track record of deployment interpreting data, analytics and metrics as well as system development with factoring security dimensions at the appropriate stages of product development.

- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans with a background of being platform agnostic.

- In-depth knowledge of product development processes and methodologies.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and lead high performers.

- A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

- Demonstrated capabilities in handling product upgrades

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proven ability to drive product success in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Ability to build and coach a team including designers , engineers , marketing to ensure the product successfully moves from design to release.

- Experience in optimal resource handling between DevOps and Maintenance teams.
