Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner specializing in Siemens software for precision machining. The candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning machines to manufacture high-precision components. A strong understanding of machining techniques, tooling, and quality control is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Program CNC turning machines using Siemens software to manufacture precision components.
• Interpret and analyze complex engineering drawings, including GD&T, for machining applications.
• Select appropriate materials, cutting tools, and machining parameters to achieve accurate dimensions and surface finishes.
• Set up CNC turning machines, install tools, fixtures, and workpieces, ensuring precision and efficiency.
• Conduct quality inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure peak operational performance.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to address manufacturability challenges and ensure product quality.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Preferred Skills

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 4-5 years of hands-on experience in CNC programming, specifically for turning applications.
• Proficiency in Siemens CNC programming and operation.
• Strong knowledge of cutting tool selection, feed rates, and surface finishes for turning operations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
• Expertise in quality control and inspection techniques for turned components.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in CNC turning operations.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality production.
