Teacher Trainer and Capacity Building Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative professional to lead capacity-building initiatives for teachers and school administrators. This role focuses on enhancing pedagogical practices, utilizing innovative tools, and fostering collaborative learning environments to improve student outcomes.

Preferred Location: Himachal, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Capacity Building Workshops:

• Organize and deliver workshops for teachers, particularly those in NIPUN schools.
• Focus on learning assessment standards and introduce innovative pedagogical approaches like BALA (Building as Learning Aid).

2. Training and Development:

• Train teachers on the effective use of Teaching and Learning Materials (TLM) to bridge learning gaps and enhance student performance.
• Conduct training sessions for educators and administrators on using databases and holistic progress cards effectively.

3. Mentoring and Collaboration:

• Provide continuous support through mentoring programs and Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).
• Facilitate sharing of best practices and encourage collaborative learning among teachers.

4. Outcome Improvement:

• Ensure that training and resources are aligned with educational goals to drive improved learning outcomes.
• Promote innovative and practical teaching strategies tailored to diverse learning needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Education, Teacher Training, or a related field.
• Proven experience in teacher training, mentoring, and capacity building.
• Knowledge of innovative pedagogical approaches such as BALA.
• Strong understanding of teaching and learning material development and utilization.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing professional learning programs.
