Senior Engineer / AM - Design

Job Specific Skills: Considerable knowledge of the EPC Project Engineering in Thermal Power Plants. Experience in design engineering of Ash Handling Systems will be an added advantage. Knowledge of the basic tenets of Mechanical Engineering is a must. Experience in general engineering for piping layouts, building layouts, storage hoppers etc. is mandatory. Ability to develop P&IDs for process flow, calculations for pipe sizing, hopper sizing, pump/compressors sizing etc.

Statement of Job Responsibilities:

• Engineering of various types of systems employed for Ash Handling for Thermal Power Plants.
• Visit clients to understand the requirements/suggest solutions.
• Site visits to collect required information w.r.t. process/mechanical/electrical/civil/structural works & site working conditions.

• Interact with internal and external Stakeholders to develop requirement specific solutions.
• Interact with technical Consultant to ensure design achievability.
• Initiate new ideas and innovation of research in new fields.
• Self-competence and team training.
• Ensure to provide quality deliverables and on time response to client.
• Review and approve weekly, monthly and special progress reports, as needed.
• Manage and resolve disputes between Consultants, Clients and other Stakeholders
