Job Description
- 8+ years of demonstrable relevant experience
- Develop and implement architectural strategies for React-based web applications.
- Maintain or improve existing React application.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of front-end systems.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in React.js development.
- Implement new tools and technologies to improve development processes and product quality.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver cohesive and user-centric solutions.
- Have a passion for and proven experience with usability and accessibility
- Advocate for JavaScript best practices
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Proven experience as a React Architect or similar role, with a strong portfolio of projects
- Extensive experience with React.js and related technologies (Redux, React Router, etc.).
- Experience with front-end development tools and workflows (Webpack, Babel, npm, etc.)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.
- Knowledge of web standards and how to optimize for performance
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build automation.
- Experience in a client-focused environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders and articulate advantages of proposed solutions.
- Ability to manage to deadlines multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid experience developing responsive/fluid designs
- Solid understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform issues
- The ideal applicant will have the following traits, including strong working knowledge of
- Web accessibility guidelines
- Experience on an agile development team using continuous integration
- Experience coding within Git source-controlled environments.
- Experience with Eclipse is a plus.
