Store Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Store Manager to oversee all inventory management and store-related operations at our project site in Hospet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that materials, equipment, and supplies are properly recorded, maintained, and distributed as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain inventory of construction materials, machinery, and tools.
• Receive, verify, and record all incoming and outgoing materials.
• Issue materials to site staff based on approved requisition forms.
• Maintain stock levels and prepare reports on stock status, reorder levels, and material usage.
• Monitor and ensure proper storage practices for all materials to avoid damage or loss.
• Coordinate with procurement and project management teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Keep accurate records of all materials issued, returned, and discarded.
• Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile with records.
• Enforce safety measures in the storage area, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Handle documentation for material transfers and returns as per company procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma/Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Store Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory software (MS Excel, Tally, or other inventory management systems).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills in English, Kannada, and Hindi (preferred).
• Attention to detail with strong record-keeping abilities.
