Lab Technician

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct lab tests on construction materials, including concrete, steel, and other building components.
• Operate laboratory equipment such as compressive strength machines, mixers, and testing instruments.
• Prepare samples for testing according to standard protocols and maintain accurate records of results.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot issues related to material quality control.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in lab testing or quality control in the engineering & construction industry.
• Diploma/B.Sc (Other Specialization) degree required; B.Tech/B.E. (Civil) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lab procedures, including sample preparation, testing methods, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in operating various types of laboratory equipment such as compressive strength machines, mixers, etc.
  OR
• They should be at least Diploma-holders with about 5 to 6 years of experience in handling the quality control tests laboratories for road/bridge works or Graduates in Science with about 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the field of testing of road/bridge projects.
