Perform post-silicon validation of complex SoCs, focusing on DDR, SerDes, and other high-speed interfaces.
Execute validation tests to ensure design functionality, timing, and electrical performance under varying PVT conditions (Process, Voltage, Temperature).
Utilize high-speed oscilloscopes and measurement equipment to validate signal integrity, jitter, and eye diagrams for high-speed SerDes and DDR.
Conduct electrical characterization for voltage margins, signal integrity, and timing performance across different conditions.
Perform IO characterization, ensuring interface compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
Implement and execute validation plans, creating detailed test cases and procedures for validating system functionality and electrical parameters.
Collaborate closely with the design, pre-silicon validation, and test engineering teams to understand silicon requirements and provide feedback during the validation process.
Debug and troubleshoot using JTAG tools, debuggers, and trace analyzers to identify root causes of silicon defects and functional failures.
Develop and improve automated test setups for validation, ensuring efficient data collection and processing.
Generate detailed validation reports, documenting test results, findings, and providing design feedback.
Support silicon bring-up, feature validation, and electrical margin tests to validate functionality against design goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: 5-8 years of experience in post-silicon validation, with a focus on DDR, SerDes, and high-speed electrical interfaces.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of DDR (DDR3/DDR4/DDR5), SerDes interfaces, and high-speed signaling.
Measurement Tools: Hands-on experience with high-speed oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and signal generators.
PVT Testing: Proven experience in PVT (Process, Voltage, Temperature) validation for characterizing performance and reliability under various conditions.
Electrical Characterization: Expertise in electrical and IO characterization, including voltage margining, impedance matching, signal integrity analysis, and noise characterization.
Debugging Tools: Proficiency with JTAG, debuggers, trace tools, and boundary-scan techniques for debugging at the hardware level.
Scripting & Automation: Experience in automating validation and test processes using Python, Perl, or TCL scripting.
Silicon Bring-Up: Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up, functional validation, and understanding of post-silicon validation flows.
Documentation & Reporting: Ability to generate comprehensive validation reports and provide actionable feedback to cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of signal integrity tools and methodologies for analyzing eye diagrams, crosstalk, and jitter.
Understanding of SoC architectures and their interface to various high-speed protocols and memory systems.
Familiarity with lab automation tools to streamline and optimize validation tasks.
