2. Reservation Management:
Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage reservations effectively.
Keep an organized record of reservations, special requests, and guest preferences.
Communicate reservation details to the restaurant team to ensure smooth service.
3. Guest Assistance:
Assist guests with inquiries, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
Offer information about the restaurants menu, daily specials, and promotions.
Notify servers of any special guest needs or requests.
4. Restaurant Coordination:
Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager/F&B Manager and servers to manage the flow of guests and optimize table turnover.
Ensure the restaurant is set up to meet service standards, including table settings and cleanliness.
Assist in maintaining inventory of essential supplies such as menus and reservation books.
5. Guest Farewell:
Bid farewell to guests as they leave, expressing gratitude for their visit.
Collect feedback on guest experiences and report any issues to management.
Handle guest billing and payment as required.
6. Health and Safety:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including social distancing and sanitation protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host/hostess station.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or related field preferred.
Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Proficiency in reservation management software and basic computer applications.
