Job Description
- Responsibilities:• Create intuitive, elegant, and performant web interfaces and digital workflows.
• Build on an established but ever-evolving digital platform used by the entire bank.
• Play a central and meaningful role in the development of a strategic web application.
• Drive digital transformation through development of engineering excellence.
• Seek-out automation, data / process and or UI optimization opportunities.
• Utilize the latest technology, including Microsoft Azure and React to help transform and digitize the bank. - Mandatory Skills Description:• Driven, proactive and creative problem solver
• Proven practical experience in full stack web and software development including HTML and CSS, C#, WEB Api, React, SQL, MS SQL, Postgres and mySQL. Great experience in building solutions using design standards
• Understanding of software design principles and patterns
• Experience building or working closely with creating design patterns, UX journeys
• Ability to develop REST based microservices
• Translate business requirements to appropriate microservices and integration model
• Develop high-performing microservices and UIs that can scale to support many requests
• Understanding the deployment of code in Azure environments including AKS containers
• Understanding of Azure DevOps, including building pipelines and releases
• Proven practical experience in Agile delivery methodologies
• Practical experience using dev tools including GitLab, Github, Jira and Azure Boards
• Ideally a Masters' Degree (Computer Science) or related degree / practical experience at same level.
