Job Description
- Responsibilities:• Supporting Maximo, WebSphere Application Server, integrations and associated third-party applications.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues or developing changes for clients.
• Maintaining the health and performance of the application.
• Planning and managing the environment patching cycle.
• Participating in regular audit activities.
• Providing high levels of customer service.
• Managing incidents within SLAs.
• Mentoring junior members of the team.
• Working within the Change Management process.
• On-call may be required. - Mandatory Skills:
- Maximo
- Mandatory Skills Description:The ideal candidate will have:
• 6+ years experience with Maximo, including installing, upgrading, patching, automation scripting, query development, performance tuning, customisation, building integrations, data loading and troubleshooting.
• 2+ years experience working in a senior capacity in various roles within IT.
• Strong Java and SQL development skills.
• Experience with BIRT development.
• Experience with Powershell, Python and JavaScript, with a willingness to learn other scripting languages as needed.
• Experience working within Change Management (e.g. ITIL) guidelines.
• Ability to multitask with competing priorities and work effectively with clients.
• Demonstratable ability to work in a cohesive team environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with IT security best practices and privacy of customer data. - Nice-to-Have Skills Description:• Experience in a software engineering (or similar) role.
• Certification in information technology disciplines.
• Experience with Microsoft BizTalk.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services.
• Experience with wsadmin scripting.
