Project Description :
- The developer will be part of the BizTalk development team and will be working on L2 & L3 Support.
Responsibilities :
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 code support for native BizTalk applications and WCF services hosted within IIS.
- Provide Level 2 support for Azure APIM API policies and on-prem Service Fabric hosted, .Net Microservices.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call roster to ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve advanced BizTalk server and Service Fabric server issues, including performance tuning, message flow bottlenecks, and deployment challenges.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend permanent fixes.
- Proactively monitor BizTalk, Service Fabric, and Azure APIM environments using tools like BizTalk360, Dynatrace, Azure Application Insights, Performance Monitor, and custom scripts.
- Perform maintenance tasks, including applying patches, configuring environments, and managing server upgrades.
- Manage and optimize BizTalk code artifacts such as schemas, pipelines, orchestrations, and ports.
- Design and configure code projects, deployment pipelines, and automated test cases for BizTalk and . NET WCF services using Azure Devops or GitHub.
- Support and troubleshoot integrations with external systems and technologies, including APIs, web services, and databases.
- Participate in incident management, problem management, and post-incident reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements in BizTalk environments.
- Document troubleshooting steps, configurations, and support guidelines for knowledge sharing within the team.
- Normal business day support to be provided between 8:30 am to 5 pm AEST on business days.
Mandatory Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in BizTalk Server support, including at least 2 years at a senior or Level 3 capacity.
- Expert skills in providing Level 2 and Level 3 code support for native BizTalk applications and WCF services hosted within IIS.
- Expert skills in supporting and maintaining BizTalk server environments and related peripheral servers such as build and development servers.
- Expert BizTalk and .NET WCF service coding skills, including the ability to design and configure deployment pipelines and automated test cases.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, SQL queries, and jobs, especially within the context of a BizTalk server environment.
- Web application development experience, including .NET and Node.js.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong relationship development and consultancy skills, as the role involves working closely with clients.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive approach to learning and staying updated on emerging integration technologies.
Nice-to-Have Skills :
- Experience supporting Azure APIM API policies and on-premises hosted Service Fabric microservices.
- Experience monitoring integrations and environment using BizTalk360, Dynatrace, Azure Application Insights.
