Project Description :

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to develop and execute automated tests for critical applications using Eggplant, JavaScript, and Selenium. The engineer will focus on creating and maintaining automation test scripts, frameworks (e.g., Data-Driven, Behavior-Driven), and ensuring comprehensive test coverage for UI and functional validation.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop automation frameworks (e.g., Data-Driven, Behavior-Driven, Keyword-Driven, Hybrid) to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and UI testing.

- Utilize Eggplant, JavaScript, Selenium, Cypress, and Java Selenium for test automation and to validate application performance.

- Perform manual testing when required, using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure product quality.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define test requirements and provide insights on potential improvements.

- Track and manage defects using test management and defect tracking tools, ensuring prompt resolution.

- Work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address testing challenges.

- Communicate clearly and effectively with diverse teams, ensuring alignment on testing goals and priorities.

- Stay updated on emerging automation trends and tools, applying them to improve testing efficiency.

Mandatory Skills Description :

- At least 9 + years of Automation experience in Eggplant test automation JavaScript and Programming related.

- Test Tools with some knowledge of Java & Selenium.

- Strong knowledge of Software Testing concepts, Standard Test Methodologies and best practices.

- Experience in creating Test plans, Test cases, Test frameworks and Test Scripts.

- Proficiency in Manual Testing Techniques and Tools.

- Familiarity with Test Management and Defect Tracking tools.

- Excellent Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.

- Knowledge of agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.

- Experience in software testing or development with good understanding of testing, coding & debugging procedures.

- Experience in design and development of automation frameworks like, Data Driven, Behaviour Driven,

Keyword Driven, Hybrid etc.

- Strong programming skills with experience in programming using Java Script, Cypress & Java Selenium.

- Experience in UI automation using Selenium driver, Grid and POM.
