Deputy General Manager

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Deputy General Manager (DGM) to support the General Manager (GM) in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization and ensure the smooth execution of business strategies. The DGM will be responsible for managing key functions, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. This role requires a strong leadership presence, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to make decisions that impact various business operations. Key Responsibilities: Operational Oversight & Management: Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the business and ensure all departments function smoothly and efficiently. Lead specific projects or business units, ensuring that they meet operational objectives and strategic goals. Monitor the performance of different departments, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, and take corrective actions where necessary. Ensure efficient resource management across all functions to optimize costs and improve business outcomes. Strategic Planning & Execution: Contribute to the development of business strategies and long-term plans, in collaboration with the General Manager and other senior leadership. Assist in translating strategic goals into actionable plans and help implement these plans across various departments. Support the GM in the decision-making process, particularly when it comes to key business operations and financial performance. Ensure that the organization stays aligned with its long-term strategic objectives. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate department heads and teams to meet operational goals. Foster a high-performance culture by ensuring that all employees are engaged, motivated, and aligned with the organization’s objectives. Provide coaching and training opportunities to enhance team skills and development. Review performance metrics and ensure that departments are continuously improving in efficiency and effectiveness. Financial Oversight & Budget Management: Work with the GM and finance team to develop and manage budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively across all functions. Monitor the financial performance of the organization and suggest improvements for cost management, profitability, and financial sustainability. Ensure that all operations are conducted within the financial limits and compliance standards.
