Job Description – LEAD IDEAS CONSULTANT II (India)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team to lead Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Allyship and Social Impact (IDEAS). This role is essential in fostering an inclusive culture where all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute to their fullest potential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Allyship and Social Impact (IDEAS) principles and a proven track record of implementing successful IDEAS initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the central SPOC for Lumen India’s IDEAS forum, becoming the conduit between India leadership and ERG chairpersons, and between India and North America IDEAS teams to manage regular reviews, priorities and SWOT analyses for all ERGs. Also support, align and collaborate with APAC IDEAS team occasionally or as needed.
Project manage, collaborate and coordinate with ERGs for key IDEAS initiatives, including mentorship programs, training efforts, policy updates, simplifying and updating North American ERG Guidelines for India ERGs, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Develop and maintain IDEAS calendar and ensure the calendar is appropriately updated in our ERG Management System. Maintain IDEAS dashboard for India, analyze data, and leverage insights to track progress, inform strategic decisions and manage budgets.
Lead the launch and sustainability of Abilities ERG, ensuring its growth through structured planning, execution, and ongoing support.
Enhance Lumen’s employer brand by promoting IDEAS initiatives through social media campaigns and engaging content.
Build relationships with external organizations and collaborate with community partners to advance initiatives beyond the workplace. Represent Lumen at IDEAS-related events, conferences, and forums.
Foster a culture of inclusion, allyship, and belonging by celebrating diversity, driving awareness campaigns, and innovative solutions to ensure sustained progress in promoting IDEAS. Solicit feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance IDEAS initiatives.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and implement IDEAS-aligned policies that reflect emerging trends and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 -12 years of overall experience with 5-7 years' experience in the IDEAS space.
Strong understanding of IDEAS principles, best practices, and legal requirements.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in developing and implementing IDEAS strategies and programs.
Analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of IDEAS initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
Experience with change management and organizational development.
