Senior Manager - Moulding (Lighting)

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare budget for moulding operation including capex, consumable and manpower for financial year.
• Prepare monthly and daily production plan to achieve production targets.
• Manpower planning for moulding department operations.
• Identify scope for implementing the technological changes to enhance productivity.
• Deploy PDCA approach and execute departmental improvement plan for process and system efficiency.
• Implementing techniques for cycle time reduction, entailing identification of opportunities, analysis of data, conduction of tests, cost benefit analysis, implementation & post audits.
• Ensure dispatch plan is achieved as per DI received from the customer.
• Review departmental objectives and conduct regular internal process audits.
• Ensure process quality standards are adhered as per control plan.
• Recommending modifications in the fixtures, gauges, Tools to improve process.
• Energy review EnPI & EnB
• Documentation and audit related to IATF 16949, ISO-14001& EMS/OHSAS-18001.
• Ensure safety standards are adhered while running the operations.
• Mentor, guide and help subordinates for resolving operational and people related issues.
• Ensure workplace discipline, procedures and policies are observed by the employees at shopfloor.
• Lead and motivate workforce; imparting continuous on job training for accomplishing greater operational results.
• Encourage team members involvement in employee engagement activates i.e. KAIZENs, CFT, QC, Suggestion scheme etc.
• Carryout goal/target setting exercise for the department and team members.
• Carryout Half- Yearly and annual performance review of the team members.
