Production Engineer

Job Summary: The Production Engineer Lead oversees and improves manufacturing processes, leading a team of engineers to ensure efficient production. This role focuses on optimizing operations, ensuring quality, and maintaining safety standards, all while meeting production goals and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide a team of production engineers, utilizing Lean Manufacturing and team management skills to ensure smooth operations.
• Plan and manage production activities to meet targets, leveraging ERP systems for efficient scheduling and resource allocation.
• Improve processes, equipment, and tools to boost productivity and reduce costs through the application of Automation, PLC, and SCADA systems.
• Solve production problems and troubleshoot equipment issues, using Troubleshooting, Maintenance & Testing, and PLC expertise to ensure minimal downtime.
• Ensure production complies with safety and quality standards, integrating E-Plan and AutoCAD for precise design and process management.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities, applying Lean Manufacturing and ERP for data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure products are easy to manufacture, employing AutoCAD and E-Plan for seamless design integration.
• Maintain schedules and resources to meet customer demands, using ERP software to track production timelines and resource management.
• Keep up to date with new production technologies and industry trends, enhancing production techniques with cutting-edge Automation and SCADA innovations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with relevant software (e.g., ERP or AutoCAD).
