Consultant Technical Architect

Our company has a white-labeled mass broadcasting mobile app that is used by entities/organisations with large instant communication needs (like universities and colleges, government bodies etc.), and uses cutting-edge technologies. The product is in place to a significant extent, and at this time we need a part-time architect to work on:

1. Speeding it up (performance)

2. Enhancing features (adding new functionality - both client-facing and internal analytics/dashboards)

3. Adding Gen AI modules / functionality

4. Automating development and testing processes

5. Enhancing security

6. Reducing hosting costs to the extent possible

Our technology stack comprises of:

1. PHP (Laravel)

2. Java (we are transitioning from PHP to Java)

3. Angular

4. MySQL, Redis, Azure Tables

5. Unix/Linux

6. Sockets

7. Android and iOS

8. AI and LLMs (customised GPT chatbots for our clients)

9. Docker and Kubernetes, and related DevOps

10. Cloud technologies and hosting (DigitalOcean, AWS and Azure)

We are looking for a part-time consultant / architect with experience in most of the above, who will also be a hands-on engineer.

The broad split-up of your responsibilities will be:

10% of time on architecture, performance and security, and

90% of the time on hands-on programming

You will need to work 3 hours a day from our office in Khairatabad. You will also need to be on stand-by always for any time-sensitive tasks or emergencies, or for calls from the development team seeking help/guidance.

We have a development team of three junior engineers and one tester, and are planning to grow it. You will also need to train and mentor the team, and interview any eligible candidates to grow the team.

This position pays Rs. 1,000 per hour of work. It is also not a WFH role, and you need to come to our office (which is close to the Khairatabad Metro station). If you are interested, we would welcome you to drop down at our office to know more.
