Job Summary:
The Senior Analyst - Strategy and Analytics (Operations) will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making within the operations function. This role will focus on leveraging data analytics to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the company. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to operational strategy, using their analytical expertise to inform and influence key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights for specific trades that will drive operational improvements and strategic decisions.

• Strategic Planning: Support the development and execution of operational strategies by providing data-driven recommendations and insights.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across operations through data analysis and modeling.

• Performance Metrics: Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operational strategies.

• Cross-functional Collaboration :Work closely with other departments such as Finance, DACI (AI) , ESS and IT to ensure alignment of operational strategies with overall business goals.

• Advanced Analytics: Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, regression analysis) to forecast operational performance and guide decision-making.

• Project Management: Lead or support special projects aimed at improving operational performance and strategic alignment.

• Presentation & Communication: Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership, translating complex data and analysis into actionable insights.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor s degree in business, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, or related field. MBA or Master s in a related discipline preferred.

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a strategy, analytics, or operations role, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.

• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

• Familiarity with statistical analysis and modelling techniques.

• Business Acumen: Strong understanding of operations, supply chain, and business strategy.

• Analytical Thinking: Ability to think critically and use data to make informed decisions.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.

• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to approach challenges from multiple angles.

• Leadership: Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
