About the Team:
This team manges the reconciliation of the inventory for all our stores and Depots. The team consumes the information from the field Inventory team s data and reconciles the inventory of the stores and dept and assesses the impact of Overs and Unders. Provides accounting support for the retail accounting team and ensures that the impact of Overs and Unders are accounted correctly in the books of Accounts. The team ensures the goods receipts and movements invoices are accounted properly and interacts with the DC and Store teams. They also ensure that all financial reports comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations.
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead a team of individual contributors who are the auditors of the Stores and Depots of Lowes. The Inventory adjustments are managed by the team by ensuring the correct entries are recorded in the books of accounts. Work with the Store and DC teams in the US to ensure that the differences if any are cleared in the books. All the business transactions are accurately accounted for and classified within the company s financial statements in compliance with company policy and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP). The role demands strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to develop and implement strategies to enhance the accounts receivable process. He/she should be able to navigate the talented team and mentor them to develop to take up higher responsibilities in the organization.
