Software Development Engineer 2 (For Women)

As an SDE-2, you will design, develop, and optimize distributed systems and backend architectures that handle large-scale data and transactions. You will be an integral part of a high-performing engineering team, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to shape the future of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems.
• Implement software solutions using best practices in system architecture, distributed computing, and database optimization.
• Optimize system performance, ensuring minimal latency, high availability, and fault tolerance.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Take ownership of the end-to-end software development lifecycle from ideation and design to deployment and monitoring.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and DevOps engineers, to build world-class products.
• Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot complex production issues, and implement efficient solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of experience in system design, architecture, and developing large-scale applications.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, Go, or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with API design, RESTful services, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps best practices.
• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, testing, and production operations.
• Experience with caching technologies (Redis, Memcached) and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Deep understanding of distributed computing principles and multi-threading concepts.
• Experience with machine learning, big data processing (Spark, Hadoop), or real-time analytics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make trade-offs in system design decisions.
• Prior experience mentoring junior engineers and driving technical best practices within a team.

Preferred Skills : -

Core Programming & Algorithms:

• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, SQL
• Strong grasp of Data Structures & Algorithms (Trees, Graphs, Linked Lists, Arrays, Greedy Algorithms, Backtracking)
• Experience with Multithreading, Thread Safety, Event-Driven Programming

Cloud & DevOps:

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) & Serverless Computing
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins)

Database & System Design:

• Expertise in MySQL, DynamoDB, Amazon Aurora
• Query Optimization & Performance Tuning
• Scalable backend architecture & API design

Software Development & Best Practices:

• Strong understanding of Version Control (Git/SVN)
• Experience in Security, Monitoring & Logging
• Building and maintaining high-performance distributed systems

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Additional languages: Kotlin, TypeScript, C#
• Cloud security fundamentals (VPN, DNS)
• Experience with Mobile Development (iOS, Android, Cross-Platform)
• Exposure to Load Testing, UAT, Web Development (Responsive Design, Web Design)
