Role & responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote clinical and pharmacogenomic tests
within the assigned territory.
- Identify potential markets, clients, and opportunities in the focused specialties.
- Set monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets and ensure their achievement.
2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including gastroenterologists, gynecologists, pediatricians, neurologists, psychiatrists, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct presentations and meetings to educate healthcare professionals on the benefits and applications of the tests.
- Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction with products and services.
3. Business Development
- Identify and approach new hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and healthcare institutions in the region.
- Expand the company's footprint by collaborating with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and influencers in the medical field.
4. Market Analysis and Reporting
- Conduct market research to understand trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Collect feedback from healthcare professionals to refine marketing strategies and product offerings.
- Prepare and present regular sales and activity reports to the senior management.
5. Promotional Activities
- regularly meet the clients within the Focus specialty and identify potential and futuristic clients.
- Organize and participate in conferences, seminars, CMEs (Continuing Medical Education), and workshops to create awareness about the tests.
- Provide promotional materials and support to healthcare professionals to aid in patient education.
This role requires a combination of sales expertise, basic knowledge on genetics, clinical knowledge, and strategic leadership to drive growth in a specialized, competitive industry.
Preferred candidate profile
Graduate with lifescience background with 3-8yrs of diagnostic/healthcare/Hospital/Pharma experience
Genetic knowledge would be added advantage.
