The Team and Role:

The Web Development team at Logitech is an integral part of the companys digital strategy, focusing on developing and maintaining web properties that enhance user interaction and brand presence.

Being a Frontend Developer at Logitech would allow you to work on a variety of projects that enhance user interaction and engagement. Youll likely collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to ensure that the web interfaces are not only visually appealing but also functional and user-friendly. Its a role where you can really make a difference by implementing responsive designs, optimizing performance, and staying updated with the latest web technologies.

• Work closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers throughout the development process to ensure cohesive and functional user experiences.

• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code for user interfaces ensuring alignment with design specifications.

• Build and optimize reusable component libraries and systems that can be utilized across various applications and projects.

• Continuously analyze and optimize application performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth interactions across different browsers and devices.

• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards and implement automated testing to ensure robustness and reliability of the applications.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code structure, libraries, and APIs to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.

• Keep up with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance skills and apply innovative solutions to projects.

• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems, providing solutions that enhance user satisfaction and engagement.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

• Strong general programming and tenacious problem-solving skills, driven to engineer high quality and maintainable solutions on long-running projects.

• Expert at frontend development, with a deep understanding of web browsers, HTML5, CSS3 / SASS, and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Strong experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte).

• Some experience with a full-stack / meta / hybrid framework like Next.js, SvelteKit, or Nuxt.

• Experience with Git and version control methodologies.

• 8+ years of experience developing modern responsive websites / web applications.

• 3+ years of experience using a modern JS framework like React/Angular/Vue/Svelte.

Experience with the following is desirable but not necessary:

• Svelte

• SvelteKit, or other hybrid framework like Next.js/Nuxt

• Typescript

• Tailwind CSS

• Adobe Experience Manager

• Java

• Salesforce Commerce Cloud

• JIRA

• Asana

• Experience with AI tools to help improve quality and productivity of work

Preferred Qualifications:

• Requires a bachelor s degree in computer science, a related degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
