Logistics Executive

The Logistics Executive will be responsible for overseeing the transportation and distribution of goods, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining efficient supply chain operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with various departments to meet the companys logistics needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and Monitor Logistics Operations:

- Manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain process.

- Transportation Management:

- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.

- Ensure the most cost-effective and efficient mode of transportation is used.

- Inventory Management:

- Maintain and monitor inventory levels, ensuring accurate records are kept.

- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to minimize discrepancies.

- Documentation and Compliance:

- Prepare accurate reports for upper management.

- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

- Team Coordination and Support:

- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes.

- Provide support to the logistics team and assist in resolving any logistical issues that arise.

- Vendor and Supplier Management:

- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

- Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers and warehouse operators.

- Performance Monitoring:

- Monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

- Implement logistics strategies to meet targets and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Education:

- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Experience:

- Experience with logistics software (ERP) is an advantage.

- Skills:

- Strong organizational and planning skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software.

- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Working Conditions:

- The position may require occasional travel to warehouse or distribution centers.

- Ability to work flexible hours when necessary.
