Senior Quality Analyst Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our team. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to uphold our commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools such as JIRA or ClickUp.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to validate software functionality.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Ensure adherence to best QA practices and drive process improvements to enhance software quality.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, etc.).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner is a plus.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript) for automation.
• Experience working with databases and writing SQL queries.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in security testing and compliance testing.
• ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications are a plus.
