Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled AS/400 RPG Developer to join our team and work in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in RPG/RPGLE, Cobol/400, SQLRPGLE, CL programming, and expertise in working with AS/400 systems.

The role requires experience with XML programming and system integrations, particularly with webMethods or other EAI tools. If you have experience in Retail Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, or Assortment Management, this role would be a perfect fit.

As an AS/400 RPG Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and integrating applications within the AS/400 environment while ensuring that systems meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain applications on the AS/400 platform using RPG/RPGLE, Cobol/400, SQLRPGLE, and CL programming.

- Integrate AS/400 systems with external applications using webMethods, EAI tools, and XML programming.

- Work with Oracle databases to design and implement SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL development.

- Support the development of applications related to Retail Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, and Assortment Management.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the AS/400 environment.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and implementation.

- Provide technical consultation and support to business teams regarding system functionalities and improvements.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

Must Have :

- 5+ years of experience in AS/400 development with hands-on expertise in RPG/RPGLE, Cobol/400, SQLRPGLE, and CL programming.

- Proficiency in XML programming and system integrations with external applications.

- Development experience with PL/SQL and Oracle databases, including writing queries and stored procedures.

- Experience integrating AS/400 systems with tools like webMethods, Yantra, and JDA products.

- Strong understanding of Retail Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, and Assortment Management.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interface with business teams and provide technical solutions.

Nice to Have :

- Knowledge of JDA modules and familiarity with retail domain systems.

- Strong consulting mindset and ability to work with clients to understand and address their technical requirements.
