Specialist - Automation and Performance Test Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Deep QA expertise in the software testing and quality assurance allows Linedata to implement and deliver truly customized solutions for clients, including hedge funds, funds of hedge funds, private equity funds and other financial services firms.

This role will work in the Asset Management of Linedata. This program will test existing and new modular suite of Longview products utilizing distributed message-based communication, micro services, domain driven design. The new products will be cloud enabled and built using the latest CI and CD technology. This position will give you the opportunity to put your education and experience to work from your first day. You will join a best-in-class team that is responsible for maintaining and enhancing systems that are central to the suite of client products offered by Linedata. You will work closely with Developers and Business team, to grow your understanding of our products at a greater level than just code & test, and you will also be expected to carefully apply industry best practices in your own scripting and testing.

We are looking for an experienced QA tester to script and test the code for an enterprise class n-tier financial system. The candidate should be well versed in Visual Studio with C# scripting along with experience in automation tools like Selenium, RestSharp, Postman etc. Candidate is also expected to have good exposure to any Performance testing tools like LoadRunner, JMeter etc. We have an agile-based team that values innovation, creativity and collaboration. Skills-

• 5 7 years of experience in Software testing and Quality assurance in a professional capacity
• Should be able to communicate with Product Owners and Clients.

. Kafka Solution is preferred.

• Hands on with Performance Testing Automation (API/UI) using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter etc.
• Strong experience in Automated testing of Enterprise Class and Financial application and web portals using tools like Selenium WebDriver & Hands-on with Automation framework development
• Experienced in API Testing using RestSharp or Postman.
• Strong Knowledge/Experience in writing SQL queries.
• Should be a self-driven engineer with desire to use practical and professional concepts in QA along with application of QA standards and procedures to resolve routine issues.
• Experience of dealing with remote teams in diverse geographies
• Should be able to write use cases based on product requirements, execute them and report issues in bug tracking system.
• Knowledge of AWS /Cloud would be a plus
