Account Executive

Role & responsibilities

• This role primarily focuses on GST, TDS and E-way Bills. Use of Excel advanced will be there in day to day activities
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) as per the deadlines.
• Reconcile GST data, verify input and output tax credits, and rectify discrepancies.
• Maintain records of all GST-related documents and assist in GST audits when required.
• Use Excel to maintain and update GST-related data, reconciliations, and reports.
• Create and manage spreadsheets for GST tracking, tax computations, and analysis.
• Prepare reports for management on GST-related performance and tax filings.
• Stay updated on GST laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with any changes in the taxation system.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing systems for audit and reference purposes.
• Proven experience in GST filing, handling E-Way Bill generation, and using MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GST regulations, e-invoicing, and the E-Way Bill system.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, Vlookup, and data analysis.
• Generate E-Way Bills for goods in transit based on business requirements.
• Monitor the validity of E-Way Bills and ensure compliance with transportation rules.
• Update and track all E-Way Bill activities and ensure they align with shipments.
• Timely filing of TDS with proper reconciliation of book of accounts

Preferred candidate profile

Education:

B. Com/M. Com/MBA with commerce background

Experience:

3-6 years of experience with accounting background

Strong proficiency in EXCEL

Ability to speak English, Hindi and Telugu

Industry knowledge is preferred
