Backend Developer AWS

Role & responsibilities

Design and Implementation:

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
• Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud resources.

Management and Monitoring:

• Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
• Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch and other tools.

Security and Compliance:

• Ensure the security of the cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Implement security best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., IAM, security groups, encryption).
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with development, operations, and other teams to integrate and optimize cloud solutions.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for cloud-based applications and services.
• Document cloud architecture, processes, and procedures.

Must have -

• Experience in designing, developing medium to large scale backend application using Java, Node.js.
• Experience in developing & managing microservices based applications.

Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or other relevant AWS certifications.
• Experience with serverless architecture and services (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools

Education:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience:

• Proven experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, Fargate etc.).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience in designing, developing medium to large scale backend application using Java, Node.js.
• Experience in developing & managing microservices based applications.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
