Job Description
- Develop bespoke extensions and plugins to extend WooCommerce s core features.
- Integrate third-party plugins and APIs to create seamless workflows.
- Tailor storefronts with custom themes and code modifications.
Optimize for performance and security:
- Implement best practices for WooCommerce optimization and security.
- Monitor plugin compatibility and troubleshoot potential conflicts.
- Ensure smooth performance across devices and browsers.
Provide exceptional client support:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Offer clear communication and timely support when issues arise.
- Document your work effectively for future reference.
You re the ideal candidate if you have:
- 2+ years of experience developing with WooCommerce and WordPress.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, MySQL
- Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with Git version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Passion for e-commerce and a desire to create user-friendly shopping experiences.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with building custom WordPress themes.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices for e-commerce websites.
- Experience working with payment gateways and shipping integrations.
