Devops Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both cloud and on-premises deployments, with the ability to design, implement, and maintain our infrastructure to support scalable, secure, and efficient software development and release processes.

Key Responsibilities
CI/CD Pipeline Management:
Develop, implement, and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab and Maven for deploying applications in both cloud and on-premises environments.

Collaboration with Development Teams:
Work closely with development teams to integrate new technologies and methodologies into existing systems to enhance performance and reliability.

Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, ensuring best practices for security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Automation:
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using Ansible and other configuration management tools.

Security Compliance:
Collaborate with security teams to enforce and monitor security policies across all environments, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Troubleshooting:
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments, providing timely support to development teams.

Continuous Improvement:
Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, evaluating and recommending tools and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in DevOps, with a proven track record of deploying and managing both cloud and on-premises infrastructures.

Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of CI/CD tools, particularly GitLab and Maven.
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.
Proficient in scripting languages, including Windows PowerShell and Bash.
Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
Familiarity with network architecture and security principles.
