Position Overview :

We are looking for a self-motivated and passionate Leader to join our Technology team as Engineering Manager.

In this role you will lead an Engineering team responsible for end-to-end Technical solutioning of a business vertical.

The role involves building next generation products used by our customers and architecting solutions to support our exponential business growth.

- Lead a team of passionate software engineers that prides itself on ownership and impact.

- Drive adoption of engineering best practices.

- Help the organization scale and grow with the business attract and grow the best talent.

- Empower engineers to take ownership of projects, guiding them from initial product requirements through to launch, benefiting all Spend Management customers.

- Maintain a relentless commitment to elevating engineering standards within both the team and the organization as a whole.

- Provide mentorship and opportunities for your team of engineers, nurturing their professional growth and success.

- Identify inefficiencies within the team and drive process and system enhancements that will support scaling the team.

- Develop and execute the technical roadmap to scale Level AI's technology stack.

- Design and build highly scalable and low latency distributed systems to process large scale real time data.

- Drive best-in class engineering practices through the software development lifecycle.

- Drive operational excellence for critical services that need to have high uptime.

Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders within and outside engineering to create technical plans to deliver on important business goals, and lead the execution of those.

Requirement :

Qualification :

- B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M. Tech/PhD from tier 1/2 Engineering institutes with relevant work experience with a top technology company.

- Strong track record in architecture, design, development, testing and operations.

- 3+ years management experience.

- 10+ years of experience utilizing a modern backend programming language e. Python, Django, NodeJS, Go for APIs, batch jobs, etc.

- Hands on experience with large scale databases, high scale messaging systems and real time Job Queues.

- Experience navigating and understanding large scale systems and complex code-bases, and architectural patterns.

- Experience mentoring and providing technical leadership to other engineers in the team.

Nice to have :

- Experience with a frontend language/framework e. React, JavaScript and Infrastructure Experience.

- Experience with Google Cloud, Django, Postgres, Celery, Redis, Elastic, MongoDB, Kafka, or Snowflake.

- Some experience with AI Infrastructure and Operations.
