Retail Sales Associate

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers warmly as they enter the store, engaging them in conversation and understanding their eyewear needs.
• Assist customers in selecting eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses, providing product information, recommendations, and demonstrations as needed.
• Use product knowledge and sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell products, maximizing sales opportunities.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, credit card transactions, and billing inquiries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, ensuring that merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
• Perform regular inventory checks, restock shelves, and assist with merchandise deliveries as needed.
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, escalating to management as necessary.
• Stay updated on product offerings, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets, meet customer service goals, and ensure the overall success of the store.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with a willingness to go above and beyond to meet customer needs.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask with attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and tact.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
