Job Description

You will be reporting to a Sourcing, Manager. You will be based in Malaysia.

Main Responsibilities

Need to manage current suppliers in term of procurement activities.
Expedite with suppliers to secure the delivery from suppliers. Trouble-shooting with suppliers on delivery.
You are able to prioritize.
Lead supply chain implementation tasks/projects to make breakthrough in supply management
You can Manage major/critical supply recovery and assure continuity supply with no stock-out
You will Find root cause of supply issues and find solutions to tackle issues systematically.
Manage suppliers On-Time delivery performance and can find ways to improve.
You will Work on and/or leading projects, including supplier transfers, exits, part transfers and localization projects, sourcing reviews, RFQ and RFP, productivity projects, critical supply recovery, risk mitigation and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.
Responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects both domestically and globally - including their associated alignments with company-wide commodity and manufacturing strategies and preferred sourcing models
Present Project Progress and Status to stakeholders and management team
Interact with suppliers and various departments to achieve project goals
Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

(Education, qualifications and experience requirements an employee must have)

Technical/Engineering background required. Minimum Bachelors Degree qualification.
Minimum 5 years working experience on below areas: procurement, manufacturing engineering, project management or operations management.
Experience project management in area of supply chain is required.
