Legal Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Due Diligence Title verification of the property.
• Preparation of agreement for sale / Joint venture Agreement/ Memorandum of Undertaking etc
• Coordination with panel advocates regarding various cases pending before courts.
• Preparation of MIS
• Vetting of various contract to be executed with vendors.
• Conduct legal research using various resources such as databases, libraries, and online sources.
• Gather relevant case law, statutes, regulations, and legal articles for use in legal proceedings and document preparation.
• Organize and maintain legal files, documents, and correspondence.
• Manage deadlines and Coordinate meetings.
• Assist in drafting client correspondence and memos.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all client interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies.
• Previous experience working as a legal assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
• Proficiency in legal research methods and resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of confidentiality and ethics in the legal profession.
