Legal Associate (3-4 yrs)

Job Description:

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Legal Associate with 3-4 years of relevant experience and a strong foundation in rigorous academic programs.

- Highly numerate and analytical, with the ability to work through complex, data-driven problems.

- Literate and articulate, with strong communication skills to present complex ideas clearly.

- Passionate about clean energy and the opportunity to tackle large-scale, meaningful challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

- Document Management: Organize, file, and maintain legal documents, ensuring compliance with filing protocols and secure handling of sensitive information.

- Review Agreements: Conduct thorough reviews of business-as-usual (BAU) agreements, including but not limited to non-competes, NDAs, and service agreements, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.

- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal departments and external partners, ensuring transparency and timely updates throughout the negotiation and agreement review process.

- Project Manage Negotiations: Oversee the negotiation process for various agreements by coordinating between internal teams and external stakeholders, tracking timelines, and ensuring milestones are met.

- Draft and Edit Contracts: Assist in drafting and editing standard form agreements, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and risk mitigation.

- Legal Research: Conduct legal research to support negotiations and contract reviews, identifying relevant regulations and case law to inform decision-making.
