Job Details:

  • The Key Account Manager maintains and expands relationships with our customers.
  • The Key Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives.
  • The role represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers needs and expectations are met by our organization.

Must-Have Skills/Competencies:

  • Responsible for:
  • Works collaboratively with all peers to ensure organizational goals are met.
  • Responsible to understand and anticipate customer's existing and future needs in depth and communicate this within our organization.
  • Responsible for developing compelling solutions to customer issues.
  • Responsible to tap into wider resources and skills within our organizations to develop customer solutions.
  • Responsible for bringing fresh insight to customers business that will help them deliver competitive advantage.
  • Responsible for developing joint strategies that are mutually beneficial to all stakeholders within the account.
  • Responsible for revenue and profit margins for growth achieved within the account.
  • Responsible for ensuring customer deliveries take place in coordination with project personnel in operations.
  • Responsible for tracking success of the projects within the account and is empowered to make adjustment to resources in consultation with operations to achieve growth plan.
  • Responsible for building and managing internal/external relationships involving all stakeholders.
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels in the customer organization from CEO down to any level.
  • Responsible for managing the contact matrix ensuring that all potential points of contact and influence are being served appropriately.
  • Ability to build trust in all stakeholders in the customer organization and influence our services and product's value add to create opportunity to new sale.
  • Responsible to motivate and set task direction for team members without direct hierarchical control.
  • Responsible for communicating strategy and direction effectively across the teams both in our own and customer's organization.
  • Responsible for effectively balancing time between our team, our organization and customer organization
  • Accountable for:
  • Building relationships with existing customers is handed over by sales.
  • Keeping existing customer relationships to earn more revenue.
  • Coordinating with operations for key deliveries.
  • Mining additional revenue in the existing customer as per budget within the vertical.
  • Customer deliveries and customer satisfaction in coordination with operations (PD of that account)
  • Consult for:
  • Any change in project people working in this vertical.
  • Any customer complaint or complement in this vertical.
  • Any change in senior levels within our customer organization.
  • Inform for:
  • Major hurdle in product release or service delivery.
  • Issues in ramping up resources.
  • Key resources leaving our organization.
  • Any issue which could affect project delivery Role & responsibilities
