Engineer Power Electronics

Role & responsibilities :

The ideal candidate will have experience in testing and troubleshooting power electronic products. Experience in Automotive charging systems though not mandatory is a plus. He should be experienced in relevant field and should be able to use his proven field experience to debug and to do a complete fault finding & repair cycle.

The Engineer should be creative, self-motivated and organized. The best candidate will be a team player with good verbal and written communication skills. Cross team functionality is imperative as this position will be working with engineering and support departments.

• Studying and drawing of the Battery Charger Schematics.
• Trouble shooting, Debugging and repair of Battery Chargers.
• Touch base with other technical teams.
• Coordination and timely reporting of the current status.
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred candidate profile :

• Experience in testing of any or all the following Power electronic Products & Systems - SMPS, Power Conversion (AC-DC, DC-DC, Inverters), Chargers, Drives, Motor Control etc.
• Should be well aware of Automotive CAN Communication protocols.
• Trouble shooting capability is a must have.
• Should be proficient in handling the debug instruments like Multimeters, LCR meters, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies etc.
• Should be proficient in handling soldering and desoldering stations and other equipment.
• Should be Proficient in Schematic reading & capture.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
