The CDGC- Cloud Data Governance and Catalog team is part of Informatica s Core Metadata Group. CDGC- Cloud Data Governance and Catalog is Informaticas machine-learning-based data governance product that lets you classify and organize data assets across cloud, on-premises, and big data. It provides maximum value and reuse of data across the enterprise.

Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer with a record of functional and automation skills to join the Scanners group in our Bangalore location. You will test and critique software components and interfaces in great technical depth, write test automation frameworks, programs to assure high product quality, and develop advanced test tools using Java to increase productivity and efficiency.

You will contribute to product delivery with high quality and lead customer success through RD level support and related engagements. You will work delivering product and feature increments in short iterations. Your technical skills will be very critical to deliver product functionalities across releases.

You will report to Senior Manager- QA Engineering

Your Responsibilities

As an important part of the Scanners RD team you will manage the following:

• Participate in functional, system, stress, longevity and regression testing activities
• Participate in product functional and design reviews, test specifications and test code reviews Design test plans and test cases based upon functional and design specifications
• Implement and maintain the test cases through appropriate tools.
• Report test results to product teams Maintain the existing test frameworks and internal QA tools.
• Collaborate with geographically dispersed, teams in an Agile environment

Your Qualifications

• Experience in understanding of Agile Methodology Programming skills in Core Java and REST API automation
• Hands on experience with any one of the Testing Tools (cucumber) will be added advantage
• Experience with Selenium, GUI object recognition and customization but not mandatory
• Familiar with relational databases like MSSQL and Oracle.
• Experience approaching a problem from different angles, analyzing pros and cons of different solutions; able to pick up new ideas and approaches quickly; enjoy brainstorming on design and with a focus on teamwork
• Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners in a group

• BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• Supervises Operational Duties of Staff

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience
