This position is part of Enterprise Strategic Sourcing Team, which has the responsibility to manage Indirect spend for Lowe s India. This position will manage the various responsibilities related to procurement of IT (Hardware, Software, Equipment - Telecom, Networks, Printers, and Consulting solutions) products and services from third parties. Lead will coordinate with various stakeholders involved in procure to pay activities - primarily with Business/ Functional team members, Legal, Finance, Vendors, etc.

 

Job Summary:

This role is to provide the necessary support to ensure timely purchase of materials and/or services, contracting & issuance of purchase orders. This includes responsibility of reviewing purchase requisitions, understanding the requirement, sourcing, negotiation, vendor finalization, preparing comparatives, coordinating for contracting and defining scope of work, on time renewal of contracts, creation and issuance of purchase orders, delivery follow up, reconciliation, reporting, etc. This role is also expected to drive measurable improvement areas within the category sourcing, contracting, purchasing and digitalization efforts.
