Module Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

• We are seeking a Module Lead DevOps Engineer with a solid understanding of DevOps methodologies and substantial experience in DevOps projects.
• The ideal candidate will excel in automating software delivery processes, ensuring high-quality and efficient releases.
• Automate the software delivery process for enhanced efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure high-quality and efficient software releases.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge and hands-on experience with various DevOps tools.
• Manage and maintain clusters.- airgap envs
• Apply in-depth knowledge of Apache Hadoop and its ecosystem.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Kubernetes, Docker

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Automation Development: Expert in developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation scripts to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.
• Manage installation on offline/airgap environments and ensure seamless operations.
• Demonstrate advanced scripting and automation skills in Shell, Python, etc.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Integration: Integrate Ansible with other tools and systems, such as CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging solutions, to create end-to-end automation workflows.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of Apache Hadoop and its ecosystem, including deployment of clusters and components.
• Employ various DevOps tools to monitor and manage infrastructure effectively.
• Hands-on on deployment processes to ensure stability and high availability.
• Manage version control systems, including Git and Subversion (SVN).
• Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm.
• Exhibit excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues.
• Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Splunk.
• Coordinate and manage projects using collaboration tools like Jira.
• Ensure code quality and security with tools like SonarQube etc.
• Relevant certifications will be added advantage
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory
• Good knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies
