Lead Analyst

In the Tagging, Tracking & Operations team, we support the organization in its decision making for marketing and digital product optimization by providing best-in-class analytics tools, data implementation and support. We are looking for a lead analyst to level up our capacity in delivering the support and help that will enable Vista to win our customers hearts, minds, and loyalty. Join us on this journey!

• Drive forward a cross-capability team. As a lead you will be expected to support in driving the success of different teams around tracking and data collection. You will support in forming the processes, ways of working and culture to deliver excellence in data measurement.

• Solve business challenges with partners. You will proactively identify partnerships across the business, elicit their challenges and opportunities and propose MVPs to deliver value back to the business.

• Explore and optimize data quality. You will provide best in class recommendations for data measurement quality in order to provide tools and materials to our embedded analytics team for insights and analysis creation.

• Mentor and grow our analysts. You will be a thought-leader and go-to for support across our team. You will support in the growth of our more junior analysts and regularly instill best practice methodologies.

• Experience with Google Tag Manager setup/implementation for daily tracking needs [UA360 + GA4]

• Advanced technical knowledge of UA360 and GA4

• Experience in using Google Analytics APIs and building upon them tasks and automations (usage reporting, data monitoring/alerting, tools setup updates for i.e. update some setups in bulk, import cancellation/refund transaction data, leverage the data feed to import additional data into GA)

• Measurement Protocol and its different usage in GA4

• Experience in using raw level data from Google Analytics in BigQuery or any other Data Warehouse [UA360 + GA4]

• Basic knowledge of GCP

• Proficiency in SQL and with data visualization tools such as Looker

• Excellent organizational skills, solid attention to detail and ability to effectively deliver on projects supporting multiple business partners.

• Experience partnering with versatile, multi-functional team members who come to the table with different perspectives and have a consistent record of developing creative approaches to solving problems.

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency in programming languages (i.e., JavaScript, Python, R).

• Experience with other web analytics tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics).

• Experience with any CDP (i.e. Segment)

• Strong background in statistical concepts including testing methodologies.
